Quality care, value, safe, flexible scheduling

Payment policy

Therapy services are billed to most of the major health insurance plans in this region. The following are the health plans which we currently accept. If your plan is not listed, we will file an Out of Network claim on your behalf.

Please be aware that with any health plans, there may be deductibles and copayments for which you could be responsible. Payment is due at the beginning of each session. For your convenience, I accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and checks. If you are working with a third-party payer, please provide information for the billing department so that we can submit all invoices on your behalf.

How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?

Generally, it takes from 45 to 60 days to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.

How long does counseling take?

Counseling ends when the concern that brought you in has become manageable or is resolved. Some insurance companies and managed care plans may agree to pay for a limited number of sessions. Speak with your insurance company about the limitations.

I received a notice that my insurance company has paid on my bill -- but I can't understand how they calculated their payment amount. Do you know?

If we have received any such information from your insurance company, we'll be glad to share it with you. However, for answers to any questions about insurance payments, deductibles, or co-payments, you generally need to check with your insurance company.
