As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified EMDR Therapist, I have worked in the helping field for several years. Earning additional training and knowledge working with individuals with sexual and substance addiction, severe mental illness, suicidal thoughts, trauma, domestic violence, and self injurious behaviors. I offer holistic psychotherapy drawing from a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and mindfulness.

 

I use a variety of treatment techniques in my work with clients (e.g., guided imagery; structured homework assignments; and creative methods that bring out your own natural strengths and interests).I have treated people from diverse racial, ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Experience working with gay, lesbian and bisexual clients. Experience treating children, adolescents, college students, adults, couples, families, and groups. Familiar with the Family Court System in Jackson County, Missouri.
